Japanese houses with black tiles and green fences stand close to each other, with narrow alleys, steps, and deserted rails-all these remind us of the most prosperous period of Lintienshan Forestry, which used to be called Little Jiou-fen. In July,2001, a bad fire destroyed a good part of the village. Now, closed and under renovation, the village has been renamed Lintienshan Forestry Cultural Park to preserve the historical memories.
