  Hua-lien City is a blog nearby both the mountain and the ocean. Her natural landscape and community culture are attractive and amazing.

  You can take the airplane, by train or drive to here. Upon entering Hua-lien City, you will see the safety block, walk path and walls along the major roads are decorated by marble pictures. All of the artistic pieces in public space are carved or collaged by marble; this makes Hua-lien City a truly “Marble City”.

  Visiting Hua-lien City, start from the stripe shape seashore park, ranging from 7-star Pond in the north, to Hua-lien Part, North Shore Park, South Shore Park. Either riding on the bicycle, or walk on Lane 193 Forest Path, you can
  see the refreshing shelterbelt forest, clean beach and the dark blue ocean. Secondarily, there are three routes to have fun in Hua-lien: Human and religion, arts and carving, natural environment.

  Ponder Hut, Ci-Ji Medical Center, Ponder Hall, and Ci-Ji University comprises the Ci-Ji Garden. The Shen-An Temple and Ci-Hui Hall are representing the Dao’s Holly Places. The origin of Hua-lien was created from Temple of the Yan Ping Chun Wang. The Qing-Shiu Yard in Ji-An Town and the Pine Garden were the notable place of human and religious development in town.

  Hua-lien is the birthplace of stone. Every two year the international stone carving artistic festival will be hosted here and is the key event in stone carving field. The Cultural Bureau Garden near by the Hua-lien Port is displaying the masterpieces from the previous years. The first ever “Stone Carving Museum” in the South-East Asia is also in Hua-lien. Besides these, the personal workshop of the artistic carving experts are located here, for instance Con-Hui Lin’s Abundant Forestry, Shin-Ci You’s Stone Carving Park are the ones the art lovers couldn’t miss out.
 
  In terms of natural scenery, Hua-lien is famous for its visiting whales event, Zhi-Ka-Xuan Forest Park and the Mei-lun Mountain in downtown.

  Don’t miss out the local snacks and deli when you visit Hua-lien. The day time is good for sight-seeing to get in touch with the nature and culture, and night time is good for visiting downtown to get closer to the local residents in Hua-lien.
