After entering 179 km of Zhon-Hen Highway, you come to the Tunnel of Swallow Open on the walk path. From here, not only valleys can be observed, but also stone cliff made of marble and rivers running from the cliff, caves and spring ponds.
This valley has the cliff stands vertically on the marble layers of ground. Exit on the Tunnel of Swallow Open, Le-Yan Park is at another end of cliff-side walk path. Copper statute of the deceased engineer is standing in the park. Leaning out of the guard rail, the river valley resembling “Indian Chief’s Head” can be found because of rush turbulent water creating the natural carving. Passing the Le-Yan Bridge that is currently under construction, then going through the tunnel to the booth on Liu-Fong Bridge, the astonishing scenery of western section of the Tunnel of Swallow Open can be found here and amazes all travelers.
