The rocks beneath the bridge look like frogs. The frog stone is composed of green layer of rock at the top and white marble rock layer at the button. A booth was built on this rock, and becomes the crown on the frog. This, built by former president Jing-Guo Chiang, was used to worship his mother during construction of the road. Kindest Mother Booth resort area is on the other side of the bridge, built by former president Chiang Kong, to worship his mother Mrs. Wang.
This area where Lao River flowing from marble valley to Li-Wu River is called the “Merging Flow”. The cliff has two different folded and fault layers of rocks. Across the bridge on the curve of the river terrace is the camping area of merging flow, and it offers twelve camps. |
