House of Pine Garden
 
More than 60 large pine trees making the perfect forest meeting for natural inhabitants and mankind culture
    House of Pine Garden is located near the water facilities at the south ring of Mt. Mei-Lun. Surrounded by 63 old black pines trees of more than 90 years old, the 2-storey western style arc architecture has the very unique and decent style. In the Japanese colony time, this was the place of Soldier Service office for High Commander of Japan army in Hua-lien. This was also the guesthouse of Japan Kamikaze Snipers.
  Besides from pine trees, there are still many aboriginal plants, such as Xue-Tung, fern, erianthus giganteus, banyan type of plants and etc. Among which, banyan type of plants tangling is most intriguing. Various large and small leaves banyan grow through concrete wall and grow inside the building.
