3-star relic: Jieh worship clinic, the Japanese immigrant village
The architecture is in accordance of the traditional Shan-Ye Mountain Temple. The main structure is wooden made and covered with metal sheet on the top. Circulating halls and gardens are surrounding the quiet and peaceful clinic.
After taking the control from the Japanese master, Tian-Mei Wu’s brother-in-law changed the clinic to “Qin-Shiu Yard”, where still worships the original god statues in the side room. The main hall has worshiped Buddha until now.
Recently the Cultural Bureau completed renovation of the Qin-Shiu Yard, and it is now supervised and managed by a youth non-profit organization. Japanese travelers love coming to Taiwan, and Qin-Shiu Yard is the must-come place in Hua-lien to be memorial of the ancestors. Therefore, Qin-Shiu Yard opens the door at all times for travelers from Japan to take pictures.
