Carp (Li-Yu) Lake

Carp mountain has carps swimming in the Carp Lake, which is the largest inland lake in Hua-lien
The lake has the depth of 12-meter. During the recent years, sand sediments are increasing and become greenish. This is as a result of “fault pond” in the Carp Lake.
Booth observing the entire lake was built in Northern Lakeshore Traveler Service Center. The booth has the staircase of more than 10 meters high. Little water ducks and red-crown water chicken were swimming freely in the lake with the small boats, which are provided for traveler to watch the lake on the boat.
Southern lakeshore is covered with green grass and ceiba. Western lakeshore is the center for stepping boats and engine boats. This center is the departing point to cruise on the lake. Nearby facilities include resort, booth and fish ground breeding center.
