Sho-Gu-Lun River Canoe Traveler’s Center

Rip current, harsh shore, cliff valleys, unique stones piling, canoeing amusement park
Sho-Gu-Lun River crosses two major land masses, the European-Asian land mass and Philippines land mass. Central Mountain belongs to European-Asian landmass, while Sho-Gu-Lun River is running from Rei-Sui and cutting towards Coastal Mountains on the east. Entering Philippines landmass that is 10 times younger than the European-Asian landmass, travelers can see five different special landscapes during the short 22-km canoe trip. Geologists always acclaim Sho-Gu-Lun River is the river with most character in Taiwan.
The entire canoe process takes about four hours. After passing the most scary Li Ya Jing rip current, travelers can take a rest at Qi-Mei Stop and Long Rainbow (Chang Hong) Bridge draws the closing note for the journey.
